How much notice do I need to order cookies?
As much notice as possible. There are certain months that tend to book out far in advance (especially around holidays). I typically stay booked a couple months out, but it doesn’t hurt to ask-just in case I have a last minute cancellation!

How do I place and order? Do you require a deposit?
Please submit all custom order requests to prairiewhisk@gmail.com. Once you send an email request and we agree upon availability, quantity, pricing and pickup, I will email you an invoice. A 50% deposit is required within two days of receiving the invoice and full payment is required two weeks before pickup date. Due to the volume of custom orders I make, your order is not on my calendar until your deposit is paid. I accept payments through e-transfer or cash at this time. Cookies will be available for pickup at the pre-arranged time which is normally the day before your event.

Can I freeze decorated cookies?
Yes, absolutely! Freezing is so simple. It’s also a great way to keep your order if your event date changes, or in the instance that I’m fully booked for the date of your event. To freeze: carefully place your heat-sealed cookies standing tall (don’t stack) in a freezer bag or sealable plastic container and place in freezer. To thaw your cookies, allow your freezer bag/container to come to room temperature for at least 8 hours before opening the container. Any sooner than that, and you will risk introducing condensation into the heat sealed cookie bag, which will ruin the look of the cookie art. I will provide cookie care instructions with every order.

What type of cookies can you design?
I can create designs based on information you give me. The more details the better! I love knowing favorite colors, themes, names, characters and inspiration pictures you find online. As with any custom order, the final product will vary in shape, size and color from original inspiration.

Do you offer refunds?
I am unable to offer a refund for orders cancelled less than 2 weeks before your pick up date. If your order is cancelled more than 2 weeks before your pick up date, you may apply any payments made to a future order. No refunds will be given for cookies that have already been made.

Where are you located? Do you offer shipping/ delivery?
I am located in Saskatoon, SK. Orders are available for pick-up only. Deliveries may be available for a additional charge.

Do you offer allergy friendly cookies?
All of my cookies contain eggs, gluten, and I use products that may contain nuts. Although there are no nuts directly in my cookies, I can not guarantee a nut free product due to the slight risk of cross contamination.

Do you offer holiday cookies?
Absolutely! Holiday pre-sales allow you to shop online for a select amount of pre-designed cookie options for all major holidays. I usually have a wide variety of designs from single cookies, personalized cookies, mini cookie sets, and gift boxes. Pre-sales are announced on my social media pages a few weeks to a month before major holidays so be sure to follow along! There is always a limited amount for each item in a sale and once I sell out of an item I do not add more.
