French Toast Iced Latte: A Little Reset

I think it’s finally spring.

The snow has (hopefully) made its last appearance and everything is starting to wake up again. It’s been a long winter, and this week especially, I’ve felt it.

Sleep has been broken with my baby teething for the first time, and we’re both just doing our best through it.

In the middle of that, I’ve been finding small things to look forward to. Lately, it’s been dreaming up her playroom downstairs. After finishing the mural in her bedroom, I can’t stop thinking about how I want that space to feel. Calm, a little magical, somewhere she can grow into.

And then there’s me, stepping back into something new too.

I’m getting ready to compete for the first time since the Olympics and since having her. My training hasn’t been perfect, but running has been so good for me mentally in this season of becoming a first-time mom.

This time, my goal is simple: have fun and see where it takes me.

Somewhere in this rhythm, this drink became part of my days.
